Frequently asked questions
What is the third place?
The third place is the overall community space at Stand Learning, designed for connection, conversation, and growth outside of home and work. It’s where members engage more casually through discussions, events, and shared experiences.
What are the differences between the workshops vs the programs?
Programs are included in your membership and are designed for ongoing, group-based learning and long-term growth. Workshops are more intensive, mentor-led experiences focused on specific topics and are offered at a discounted rate for members.
What am I getting with my membership?
Whether you choose to join as a member or as a mentor, you gain access to our continuously growing online personal development, economic empowerment, and civic engagement programs, with self paced courses you can do and group cohorts. You also gain 25% discount on all the mentor-led workshops offered.
What is the difference between a cohort and a workshop?
A cohort is a small group that learns together over time, focused on connection and growth. A workshop is a one-time session centered on a specific topic or skill.
Stand Learning is primarily cohort-based, with workshops offered for more focused, short-term learning experiences.
