STAND Learning exists because we are in trouble – and traditional education isn't helping. While everyone else focuses on churning out "employable" graduates with bling for their resumes, we're developing empowered individuals who think critically, empathize deeply, and engage courageously in their personal, economic, and civic lives.
We need whole people, not just skilled workers. People who can think for themselves, challenge assumptions, and actively participate as reliable partners, contributing employees, confident citizens, and community leaders. That's why we've built something completely different.

Lifelong learning should not be 40 required units in a bachelor degree program for the privileged. Lifelong learning should be lifelong, affordable, and for everyone.
The Problem with "Learning" Today
Traditional education programs are great at two things: delivering content and building skills. But they're missing something crucial – the development of wisdom, perspective, and personal power.
Most online learning platforms optimize for "wide distribution of basic knowledge." We optimize for personal transformation. While others ask "What do you want to learn?" we ask "Who do you want to become?"

Mentors
